Hillary Clinton ‘16 // Duck and Cover

In September of 2016, I had the chance to write Donald Trump attack ads on behalf of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Yeah, I know.

We were asked to use Trump's own sound clips against him, painting him as an irrational, dangerous ball of shower-drain hair with access to a nuclear arsenal. My take was to re-purpose 50's civil defense films to paint a Trump presidency as a return to Cold War era nuclear paranoia. Unfortunately, the spot never ended up running.

Even more unfortunate: 45 kept running.
