You know when you’re a cool, independent creative agency and you get bought out by a large, faceless consulting firm, and said large, faceless consulting firm needs a soaring, emotionally resonant manifesto to communicate to a horde of business casual clad clients that speaking to customers like they’re barely-sentient Excel spreasheets is less than ideal so they tell you to make one with zero budget and a timeline that only a person of questionable sanity would even consider undertaking?
